Handling of refunds

To those of you who have canceled events, FFO, etc due to the Corona situation

As everyone is aware, there is a state of emergency and most sports clubs struggle every day. At a time like this, it is natural to consider whether you need a refund or not, but it is not a given that everyone wants to get money back immediately. Many people want to contribute to the ongoing efforts to ensure that sports and sports events survive.

Some clubs started refunding last Thursday. Many of these regretted it afterwards, when they discovered that several did not need a refund, but wanted to contribute in a difficult time. It is then difficult/impossible to withdraw the refund once it has been made.

The most common solution we see around and which we see works well, is for the club to offer people an opt-out refund.

1. No refunds. The club may not have to refund and that everything may go towards compensating the loss for the club/event

2. Refund half of the money. This means that the club can refund half and that half can then go towards compensating the loss for the club/event.

3. Full refund of the money the club has received , i.e. minus the transaction cost the card companies etc. have already taken. This is then all the money minus the transaction fee.

The clubs that have done this say that approx. 50% choose option two. About. 30% choose option one and the remaining approx. 20 percent choose option three.

This also simplifies the administration, as you only handle the response continuously as desired. If you have paid in part, this means that you do not need to cancel the order and everything continues as normal. However, those who wish to do so may be reimbursed the amount they wish. Those who do not respond will not be refunded until they do respond.

Regarding the "freezing" of Part payment / Autorekk, contact us if you have any questions about it, or other matters.

We cheer you on, and are available to help and contribute in a difficult time.
